Flower grown from 32,000 year old seeds

When I read this all I can think of is Scrat from Ice Age when they talk about the prehistoric squirrels.

I thought that was incredible too. I hope the radio carbon dating holds up. I really wants this to be real and not a contaminating modern seed.

Hmmm....do you think we could get some pre-historic corn and make Jurassic Popcorn- they would probably be HUGE kernels and dangerous too!! But I think it would be worth it to have a single piece of popcorn big enough to fill an entire bowl.

If true, this is really beautiful and not just visually. I do wonder though, what dangers lurk in ancient lifeforms that we know nothing about as well as possible benefits.

    But really, it's just beautiful.

Nice to know that 32,000 years ago, squirrels were still doing what they are today.... IN MY BACKYARD!! }:(

I did NOT plant like 8 new hazelnut trees all over my beautiful yard last year!
    and some walnuts.

    and some other mysterious plant.
