Seattle Sehawks looking at Peyton Manning

That's the rumor in the wind right now. Didn't see that team at the top of the list. I still say they should rework his contract and keep him in Indy. Here's the story that broke a few minutes ago. If I were Manning I would be wary of just playing for anyone. I could see some teams picking him just for the increased revenue his name would bring the program. Whether they offer him a real chance at another run may be very much in doubt.

if he's good to go I think Seattle would be a great place for him...good D, a beast of a Back and I'm sure Reggie Wayne would'nt mind going with him...Washington's a mess so i doubt that one, Seattle,Miami,49ers, or Tennessee would be nice fits

I'm taking a wait and see approach with Manning. His huge bonus ($28 million) is due by March 8th so I expect something will be done by then to determine if he is going to stay with the Colts or not. Supposedly Manning and the Colts have been talking about a restructure. I would guess that would be the only way he could stay in Indy.

Technically no teams other then the Colts can be in contact with Peyton since he is still under contract, unless the Colts give him permission to seek a trade. Otherwise it would be considered tampering and the offending team could lose a draft pick(s) because of it. Not saying tampering like that doesn't happen but it is not supposed to.

There are a lot of rumors regarding Manning and where he might go or stay. There's a story out that Jim Haslett (defensive coordinator for the Redskins) told someone and it leaked to the press that the Redskins would go after Manning big time if the Colts don't sign him and are also in heavy discussions with the Rams to move up to the #2 pick and take RGIII. Just like everywhere else, the talking heads do not think Manning is a good choice anywhere (he's washed up, etc.). Snyder has a big pocketbook and plenty of salary cap to spend. Who knows? I would love to see the future HOF'er wearing the Burgundy and Gold for a few seasons.

Plus the Redskins really aren't as bad as their record indicates. Nobody kicked the snot out of them....they easily beat the Giants twice and almost beat the Patriots and lost to most other teams by one score. They are a good QB away from being a playoff contender.

yea but it seems like all the players who go to Washington are has beens or end up going there for the money and don't care about the game

I feel bad cause the owner tries so hard , I just don't think he'll end up there
