I've got about 800 songs on my Nano, and constantly use the Shuffle feature when playing. Has anyone noticed that the random factor when doing this isn't so.. uh.. random? It really seems like I'm hearing the same 50 songs over and over.
When the Nano is connected to iTunes, you can see how frequently songs have been played. I was amazed that some have been heard 20 or more times in the past few weeks, where many others have never been played! The deck is definitely stacked..

I don't think so.. but apparently there are settings within itunes that can let you adjust the randomness. I've never touched mine (didn't even know this til I just read it), so I assume mine is on a default setting. I'll have to check later.
Is iTunes' Shuffle Mode Truly Random?

No.. I did have a few doubles, but I deleted them months ago.

OK I need some ipod help as well, I tried to sync my ipod to a new computer and the only songs that come up are songs purchased from itunes, all my playlists and songs I brought over from cd's are inaccessible....any help on how to sync all my music???
