The only shows I won't miss an episode of are:
Top Gear (although that's becoming a parody of itself)
Doctor Who
Game of Thrones
How I Met Your Mother
James May's Man Lab
Luther
Peep Show
Sherlock
Strike Back
The Walking Dead (because I WANT THEM ALL TO DIE).
Most of those shows have short seasons.
I'm probably missing plenty of great shows, but TV is generally background noise for me (TV card in my iMac), and most of the shows I watch come via bittorrent anyway (I can't stand being 6 months behind the rest of the world).
If I do ever watch "live" TV, it's on delay so I can skip the adverts.
Oh, and UFC. I need my senseless violence.
Even My Henchmen Think I'm Crazy.
I like River Monsters and The Office and have just started watching Spartacus and Sons of Anarchy. On Mondays, I go to my Mom's for dinner and we watch Hoarders or whatever Real Housewives is on Bravo.
Current shows I watch:
Breaking Bad (best show on TV IMO)
Walking Dead
Mad Men
Spartacus
Game of Thrones
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Community
30 Rock
Big Bang Theory
The Office
Parks and Recreation
Modern Family
Louie
and I'm starting to get into some of the more recent UK shows, so far my favourites are:
Misfits
The Inbetweeners
I've never seen Game of Thrones, but I saw something at Best Buy today saying Season One is coming out next month. I'll definitely check it out.
Thank goodness for DVR Lately Ive been watching more TV than I have in a long time.
Hawaii Five-O
Once Upon a Time
Walking Dead
Hell on Wheels
Finding BigFoot
Pan Am
Anthony Bourdain
Pawn Stars
Raw/Smackdown
2 Broke girls
Modern Family
Madmen
Touch- when it premiers in March
Retro
Car 54
Honey West
I've actually caught some Fringe and liked it. The problem is it's on at Supernatural's slot. I can DVR two shows but I usually keep one tv free so my daughter can watch her shows. May start taping Fringe again and just put in a DVD if my daughter is really wanting to watch something at that time.
I've heard terrific things about Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and Game of Thrones. And I can't believe I forgot Doctor Who! The problem is that I got behind at about season 2 of the new series and have never caught back up. Time to get some season sets and remedy that problem.
