So, you are saying, it's okay to insult people if you are considered pretty. Gotcha. Chelsea mocks, infantises and dehumanizes her sidekick and little people all the time. It should be wrong no matter if you are "pretty" or "ugly."

For the record, I'm not exactly a fan of Rosie or Chelsea. The point of my earlier post was please don't use Rosie's stupid comment (which she has apologized for) as an excuse to insult gay people, women or heavy people. Like calling them slobs and things like that.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Werewolf is right, however, i don't think people dislike Rosie because of weight or sexual preference. people don't like her because she is an obnoxious, boorish *****

I have a 'mild fear' of any celebrity who thinks their opinions, personal or political, are of any great importance to anyone outside of themselves. These people carry so much presumption and pretense that society actually 'cares' what they think simply because their name is recognized. I have no more regard for "Rosie" than I would a felon behind bars. The best thing to do here? Ignore her... They hate that.

Let me start this by saying I'm not a fan of either Rosie or Chelsea.

That said, I also didn't see all of what Rosie said but it looked like an interview. If that's the case then her talking about a phobia she has shouldn't be considered offensive. Her phobia is called either tinyophobia or Nanosophobia and a phobia is by it nature an irrational fear ( not like the term homophobia which is totally incorrect for how it's used ).

Chelsea does what she does as part of her "shtick" and her sidekick is in on it. If he came out and said he didn't like her jokes at his expense then it would be wrong. Her humor is crude and that what her audience wants from her. Andrew Dice Clay had a big career being crude and the term PC hadn't really be invented yet. When people started complaining about him and getting "offended" by what they knew he was going to say when they bought the ticket is when the term PC got a lot of millage ( at least that's when I first started hearing used a lot ).

Personally I'm fed up with all the PC bull around today and if I never hear about Rosie or Chelsea again I won't shed a single tear.
