I just cannot seem to enjoy Collin Baker as the Doctor

I think one of the Collin era's big problems was changing to two 1 hour episodes.

Two 1 hour episodes seemed to really move slowly ... Perhaps because 2 cliffhangers are no longer written in.

I certainly don't fault Colin for everything, I know JNT messed the show up pretty badly.

Firstly I got to say. I am the least experienced watcher of the show. I was only lucky enough to see the Tom Baker and few of the Davidson episodes. It was a cable thing!
So I have little to add to the conversation. The question I have to interject is only formulated on what I've heard of this era of Doctor Who. Under the Collin era was'nt it suggested that the Time Lord's had become corrupt? Though I did'nt get to see these episodes. I thought it interesting. It maybe expressed why the Doctor stold his tardis and set off across time & space in the beginning. May be it was a good story premise but just poorly wrote. Anyone what to fill in the gaps on this???
