I think DVD's will receive an extended life an pack-in item. Basically like th ecombo packs are now, but you won't be able to buy them separately. The thing that bothers me about it is so much of the DVD downfall has been manufactured. It's not that people don;t want them. It's that everyone involving making them because they see streaming as more profitable. There's already been pitfalls with streaming and I see more coming before it takes a foothold. The first is licensing. Just go to Netflix and see how many titles are "DVD only" and you will see what I'm talking about. The other is while content providers see the huge upside of streaming, service providers will start having a big issue. Meaning if everyone is suddenly watching all of their content streaming, broadband providers will who are only getting paid for subscriptions will not be happy.
It already happens now with "Unlimited data" phone plans were people get their speed throttled for to much usage. Before streaming can work without a physical option a lot of companies are going to have to sit at the table come to agreements to everyone's liking.

It is not a sickness Bro. I like good deals just as much as anyone else. I don't blame you for stocking up while you have the chance to do so. There is nothing wrong at all with getting a good deal. I just wish there was more of them to be had.

When something is retailed at FULL price I always call it FOOL price. That my motto anyway.
