Thread: Megadeth's Vic Rattlehead

    Megadeth's Vic Rattlehead

Here is the gun, it's a chap Mei rubber one cut up and then I added sculpy to it.

Here is the So Far So Good.. head done, needs to be painted and the chains added

Testing some more ammo belts, but I'm getting more of the colored ones. I need to paint the gloves and make the ammo pouch. And then find a gun!

    ----

I want to expand my Eddie from Iron Maiden's shelf to include Megadeth's Vic Rattlehead.

I'm going to make 3 figures. I have the heads made, but only one with the chains, and I want to redo the mouth clamps, then paint it. The mouth clamps are a pain.

Here is the start of So Far So Good.. I don't know what the legs look like from the cover so I'll make it up as I go. I think painting the fonzie hands will look like gloves, I ordered a pair of gloves so I'll wait and see which looks better.

Been picking up stuff that will go on this, I just need to find the gun. Picked up a couple ammo belts and a satchel here. I have some AJ grenades, I'm going to take the head like I made above and sculpy on the helmet.

I need a green suit for the General

These are the three I want to do

can't wait to see that painted up, looks like a pretty good sculpt.
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

That looks pretty sweet. My wife used to think that Dave Mustaine's name was "Davey Stain".

I like where you are going with your customs ideas. I have a Vic Rattlehead custom of Peace Sells (One of my favorite Megadeth covers and CD's) that is still not finished as of yet. I kind of put him on the back burner some time ago. I will post a picture of my W.I.P. in another thread.

Good luck with your customs. I look forward to seeing them when they are finished.

    Hee heee!

That's great! Looks fantastic so far.

If you've got two needlenose pliers, use small paper clips. Twist the top part halfway around one, crimp and then twist the bottom a half twist again.

I tried a paper clip, thats what I used on the chain. The problem is the top part of it is J shaped and the bottom is round and I can't make it small enough. If I can fin d a single so strand wire that is a little thinner than the paper clip it should work otherwise I'll sculpt it

Looks great so far. Always loved Vic. Going going to see them in May, with Rob Zombie.
