so it seems a different version of this movie was aired overseas as a 4 hour tv mini series last year and was available ondemand here in the US back in Sept. did anyone actually see it?
the theater version comes out in the US on 02-17

Yeah, this is a mini-series edited down to 90 minutes with redone special effects.

Personally, I'm more interested in "Oz: The Great and Powerful" which is a big budget musical prequel to "The Wizard of Oz" - directed by Sam Raimi and coming in 2013.
