    Megomuseum News Sincerely, General Urko

This rare bit of Mego history was submitted to us by Mike who is auctioning off some incredible classic Ape toys on Ebay right now.

These were created by Mego as promotional materials given out at store appearances where an actor in Planet of the Apes regalia would visit. General Urko, despite his hatred for humans, would happily give children an autographed head shot.

What’s best about this is the stage hand in 20th century clothes directly behind him. * Like Planet of the Apes? Visit the Mego Museum Planet of the Apes Gallery. * *

SWEET! Now THAT is something I would have loved to have had.
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.

Urko doesn't strike me as the sincere type.

    or with penmanship that neat.

    I love the "sincerely" dedication.
Probably like in "I'd sincerely like to kill every human".

Next time I meet Dave Prowse, I'm going to ask him to sign it "hugs and kisses, Darth Vader!"

That is pretty cool! Thanks Mike J. for sharing this.
Common sense is not that common.
