Some very rare stuff indeed,
but also a prime example where breaking up the lot would probably result in actual sales.
Even a die-hard Trek or Mego collector isn't going to plop down 25k for everything just to get the one or two items needed. But they would almost certainly get in bidding war for a single item or two, say, the Planetarium.

I have been trying to negotiate a little deal, but even broken up this collection doesn't even sniff 25K... I wish he had the remco's... I sold all mine and those are the ones I miss the most

Wow! Love to own that Planetarium. Didn't the last one (with a major crack) go for a pretty penny? 13K or more? I can't remember, but I thought it was a huge amount. Looks like I'm dropping a dollar on Lotto this weekDavid

Thanks for the info...So the one I'm thinking of probably went for a similar price and I just added 10K for fun (or bad memory). Unless yours had a crack in it??? David
I hear you... up to about 6 years ago, I believe I had the only known "complete" star trek action figure/toy collection... now keep in mind, I am not talking about cups and larami and lunch boxes, but I had MIB or MOC every single produced star trek fig and playset from;

South Bend/Mattel
Galoob
Playmates (including many unreleased prototypes)
Palisades prototypes
up through all the newest DST's
over time, I sold portions (like the remco's, and galoobs) so I don't have much left...but I had at least 3 Planetariums in the late 90's...sold them in Toy shop!
