Custom of the Day - 2/22/2012 - Clayface!!!!!!

I've been wanting to do this one for a while, just had to work out the articulation and texture on him. I didn't want it to end up a statue, so I did a black body suit and using an unholy combination of hot glue, sculpey and caulk I sculpted around the joint areas to retain mobility on the figure. I gave him an interchangeable hand with magnets.

The base body is one of those Urban Icons 9-10 inch figures I like to use for big guys like this.

This is I think my first fully sculpted head over the dremeled down stump of the Urban Icons head.

Of the Mego Museum world for sure. That is pure nastiness bolt - nasty, nasty stuff. In a good way.

Excellent work Joe. I love all the sculpting and just how mean and ugly this guy came out.

Wow Joe. This one is just spot on. The head and paints are great.

Once again, your take on the character is incredible.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

It looks like it crawled right out of a pile of clay, to terrorize the other figures. Very cool, one of my favorites of yours.
