Mexico City Part II: Not Mexico City
Just a few shots to get Hector started, I'll dig through the files and find some other shots from Central America, I've got nothing going on today...

All things tiny, loud, cute and smelly. In Valladolid, on our walk from the house into the town center.

Caught a ride to Campeche and hung around for two days. Cathedral inside the walled old town section.

Per tradition I find an unmarked path at one of the ruins and make my wife hike along with me until we find nothing and eventually the nagging makes me abandon the quest. Her standard response to my quest can clearly be seen in the photo. We actually found a temple and another small structure at the end of this path, so I think I'm two for nine if she's keeping score.
Path to somewhere, Edzna, near Campeche.

Edzna, the part that's actually on the map.

Behind the main temple group at Edzna.

We stopped in Izamal to grab a bite to eat and climb the third largest structure in all of Central America. This is the second year we've lucked out and caught the fair.

Convent in Izamal. In the 80's the pope spoke here. I did not see the pope lurking around anywhere this year.

If you're gonna name it that I'm gonna take a picture under the sign.

Those are awesome! You travelled to Itzamal too?! I like that place

Yeah, it's not far from Valladolid. If you're ever on this side of the globe again drop me a line and I'll hook you up with my friends, they have a small tour company and a nice rental house.

Thanks Bill!
Just thought I could have tacked my pics into this thread rather than starting my own...

Love 'em! Appreciate the sharing. Would love to see th guatamala pics because I really regret turning down the chance to race there a few years ago.
