Like everyone else has said,it's too much of a good thing. Something that I've notice people not talking about are the Target multi-packs. And then there's the vehicles that come in Vintage style boxes at Toys R Us and Target.

Personally, I love this line. I'm not much of a keep em in the package collector, but these I do. It's all about the package. I love that retro look. I felt that they should have done something like this years ago. Since I sold off my vintage carded Star Wars collection a few years ago, this is a nice lower cost alternative to enjoy the card art. The best part for me is seeing them do figures on vintage style cards that they never did back in the day. Makes me feel all retro-ee inside.......
And how could we forget that. These figures to me are just like the gi joe 25th anniversary figs. My wife almost divorced me even b4 we got married cause i spent a fortune on them. I have much more control with the SW figs or so she thinks heh heh heh. The retro look makes me feel like a kid again. The vehicles look amazing as well. Most is priced decently. There are a few that cost a kidney but whoever had the vintage packaging idea was brilliant. Tap into our hidden 8 year old self and now we have money. I only wish i had some targets closer as they have had some of the best items. My closest is 50 miles, but there are 2 and they are super targets.
$25.00 for just a landspeeder , they can keep it .
As for the multi packs , its to much money for one figure i would want out of the other two , another pass .

I just came home from a Wal-Mart. They were stocking and I seen the Phantom Menance figures. I really was not even looking for them. I was just checking out the toy aisle to see what was new. Pretty much the same-O, same-O. I just noticed them because I seen that they had Phantom Menace across the packages now and one that I call Queen Armadillo.![]()
I did not buy any of them though. Nothing really stuck out and appealed to me that I seen on the pegs. I did pick up one of the figures and looked at it a little more closer as it was a first rendition of that figure according to the sticker on the card.
I am mainly just going for the army builders like the Storm Troopers. I did pick up the cool must have figures when they came out like Boba Fett and Darth Vader. I did get a bunch of the silver foil border cards. I forgot what they call them. Chase figures or some crap like that. The Star Wars figures move pretty quickly around here and not many of them tend to stay on the pegs long at all.
Personally, I think that they will eventually end up like the 1995 stuff. You can hardly give that stuff away. Of course there is certain pieces that are better than others and may bring a little more. Other wise the stuff is pretty common and people, collectors and scalpers snatch them up out of fear of loss.
The Gamo's go for a steady $20.00 from what I have seen.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
Too much space. Need more toys!
Check out the ever growing Mego like sized vehicles data base.
The one I have liked is the Revenge of the Sith Darth Sidious only seen one so is this one hard to get please
And again, i will only buy the retro carded figs from SW, Empire and Jedi. No desire for any of the garbage from the new 3.
I think the toughest and most expensive in the line is Wedge Antilles. I've been searching in earnest with no luck. He seems to sell on ebay from about $25-$40.
That's what i have been buying Mark,i just like the retro vibe they give off, transports me back to when i was once youngNot to worried about the other figures or the variants, although the expanded universe figures are pretty cool.Would not mind getting a landspeeder and tauntaun some time.
