Thread: Toy Hunters on Travel Channel Jan. 15th

  1. #21
I posted this in the other thread.....

I recorded it and watched it this morning thought it was pretty cool. nice to see things i never saw the Star Wars electronic game was neat........I laughed at that crappy artic Batman with the green tag.....I said i don't care if it had the tag that Batman is garbage....

Tom the collector cracked me up when the guy asked him for the Disney stuff i chuckled and said he ain't giving you ****....lol vintage Disney collectors don't part with anything....

The Boba Fett was neat, amazing how it was sitting in the guys store room in a box. I liked the Star War collectors reaction to it........

I kinda knew the Thundercats piece wasn't going to sell......unless your a hardcore TC fan no one wants that ugly bubble monster.....

$50 for a loose SMDM without his engine accessory actually might be a bit high but it's not too bad. Oscar Goldman, on the other hand, should have gone for more... especially boxed. I think they are going pretty consistently in the $150 to $200 range.

This re-aired last night, so I finally got to watch it. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm only about an hour south of Cincy, so it makes me want to hope and my car and go harass people!

I laughed at that crappy artic Batman with the green tag.....I said i don't care if it had the tag that Batman is garbage....
Yeah, no one cares about those figures...I know, I have a ton of them in storage! I think he would have been better off picking up the Bruce Wayne and Joker he passed up in those boxes.

I can't believe he got that excited over those Corgi Batmobiles. I don't think they go for much do they? They aren't very old either. I recall that particular Jim Lee 2000s model sitting at TRU for quite a while.

He also said M.A.S.K. was a precursor to Transformers, which isn't true. Transformers debuted in the US in 84, and M.A.S.K. started in 85.

Still a fun show, and I hope to see more.

Looking forward to it. I just rewatched the pilot again last night. It's a fun show, so it will be cool to see more.

Is there only the pilot episode, so far? I really enjoyed it, by the way.
