    Early 80s videogame toys

Something that im interested in collecting is toys from the early eighties based on videogames, the problem is I cant remember 99% of them. I know there to be five or so figurines of Pacman (such as Ms pacman from the link) vintage MS. PAC-MAN collectable arcade figure MOC Coleco | eBay What eles was available? Was there anything with Q-bert, Frogger, etc.?

Pac-Man had all kinds of stuff. Like trading cards, Board games and plush toys. Tomy also made a neat set of Pac-Man wind ups. They ran along and chomped.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

There are Donkey kong ones, I still have Mario, but DK and Pauline are long gone. Pauline came with a mini DK arcade cabinet! There are a few other pac man ones, (one has a halo and angel wings?) Q*bert ones were out too, that's all of the PVC ones I can recall at the moment.

I recall quite a few Pac Man items in stores back in the day...

One thing I did have a lot of were the Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man and Donkey Kong scratch game cards, where you rubbed off the dots to play the game.

I had all those Pac mac PVCs... and the Donkey Kong ones too.

Bizzaro Megomauler is right about Pauline with the Cab. There was DK himself holding a barrel and DK jr on a vine as well. And of course... MARIO.

I still have the Mr and MRs Pac wedding PVCs somewhere around here.

I had a QBert that you wound up and he hopped as well.

I don't remember anything for Frogger though.

When I think of arcade figures, the first thing that pops to mind is TRON. Even before the movie came out, the game was a blast. Now of course the figures are movie based, but I still see them as true arcade figures too.

Thats a very good point. Those tron figures were great. My favorite tron game is still Disc of Tron. Its a challenge after a few levels!

Qbert had some plush guys too in different sizes. There's a really rare stuffed Qbert snake out there too. Also the Qbert blow-mold banks are pretty cool too.

Thanks for sharing your qberts with us, those are great! So theres no frogger at all out there? Thats a real shame. I would think they would have taken advantage of his license.

I've never seen anything for Frogger that wasn't an arcade game. I do remember seeing Burger Time character PVC figures back in the day though....

They made this board game. I haven't played it yet, but sadly no sound effects. Somehow just doesn't look as excitin'.

                              Also, here's my Pac-Man game.
They also have a Mrs. Pac-Man, Zaxxon, and Donkey Kong board games I'm dying to git.
