      Yeah, The Bride with White Hair is one of the better looking movies I've ever seen on the big screen. Audition certainly has a couple of very memorable scenes, though it's hard to make sense of it.

        Nope, the only North American take on this trend I can think of was called "The Jitters" which was filmed in Toronto. Chinese Vampires hop because their feet cannot touch the ground. They can also be stopped by pieces of paper with incantations written on them, pretty neat.

        I'm quite fond of The Bride with White Hair. It was so beautifully choreographed and lensed. Also the Chinese Ghost Story Trilogy that palitoy mentioned in the other thread.
        Yeah, I love those movies and now am seeking them on DVD. It was weird watching Xena seeing whole scenes, even characters lifted but Riami/Taipert made no bones about their inspiration for the series.
