I've been hoping for a 1/50 Batcopter since the beginning. I wish they'd release the Batgirl cycle to the public too. I hate when they do those con exclusives and screw everyone else.

I have not heard many of the releases - I think these are the only pics from 1Stopdiecast.com:

Sweet. Even though Corgi made the original true Batmobile and the 78 Batmobile in a similar scale, I'm all over these. The 78 Batmobile will always be one of my favorites. From it's use in the comics of youth and Super Friends from Challenge onward, and being the basis of the Super Powers toy, it's a classic. Dick Giordano gold.

I hope they do the 1950 Dick Sprang Batmobile. Corgi kind of dropped the ball on that one by making it too small.

Just spotted superman at Walmart. Five bucks seems double the cost of a regular hot wheels.

I buy the Batmobiles, but have no interest in regular cars with superhero graphic decos.

  7. I got the 4 pack off walmart.com for 10.00 I found a ebay seller who was selling the cars for 4.99 ( same price as in stores ) + shipping so I bought 2 of each Batman related ones.

I went to a different out of the way Wal-Mart today that I have not been to in a while. There was five Bizarro's and one Lex Luthor hanging on the pegs.

ScottA - I picked you up one of each. It is a start for your set.

Many of the premium line Hot Wheels are best found online as distribution makes it very tough to find in the big box stores (Wal Mart, Target, TRU, etc) - Ebay, TheToyPeddler.com, 1stopdiecast.com, Milezone.com are good.

Also, some grocery stores like Kroger have carried them as well.

Kroger has the cereal ones reduced to 89 cents. So maybe someone might be able to find the others there.
