    Zylmex Metal Men

Loved this toy line as a kid. There's only about 8 or so figures in the line and one or two vehicles. Metal Men were made in the late 70's/early 80's by Zylemex (also known as Zee-Toys) and sold mainly in department stores like Alexander's and Sears. Made of solid metal and either mono or bi-colored only they're quite heavy and about the size of a Star Wars figure. Any of the Metal Men are pretty rare today but the auctions are sporadic and when they do appear, prices are inconsistent from one to the next. There's a few Sears catalogue exclusives that are off the charts price wise though but they're never really available for sale. This one, Questar, is my favorite of the line.....

I LOVE the Metal Men, my collection isn't big because I only dabble but they are some of the coolest 3 3/4" figures out there.

One of the best finds I ever had was over 50 MOC and MIB Metalmen, was shocked at how high some of them went for... cool line indeed!

I was a lucky, lucky kid. I had the NASA ship as well as the saucer (and still do, packed away with everything else). Great toys and their weight made 'em feel indestructible.
