    eBay help

    Hello all

I really am losing the will to live with eBay and it's buyers.

I have sold a brand new complete repro superman figure.

Without any contact the buyer has left me negative feedback saying the "plastic box" is broken......I don't know what the plastic box is what they are referring to unless it's the blister.

The item was in perfect condition when it left me.

Would eBay remove this feedback as it is totally unjustified and I am a little bit suspicious this was purchased just to sabotage my feedback as the feedback was just left. Normally where there is a problem the buyer would always contact first?

I really am getting annoyed with eBay.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Btw....I've contacted the buyer , they are not interested.

    Cheers

I don't think there is much you can do other then asking the buyer to revise it.

How sellers can request Feedback revisions from buyers

eBay does not remove any feedback that is left unless there is vulgar words associated with it (please correct me if I am wrong).

Not sure anything can be done. Sellers get the short end of the stick on eBay

I am assuming the plastic box is the blister....I've just received 25 more from tjs and they had no damage , so the damage , if there is any damage , has been caused during shipping.

Keep your eye out for this buyer...

Wouldn't want another member on this forum to fall foul of this buyer.

You can also post a "respond" to their feedback to state you side of things.

That is pretty much the crux of it. As a seller, I have had to refund more than my share of monies and lose the product, just so I can get a buyer to revise the feedback. Sad, but true.

You can try emailing him and asking what was wrong with the product, etc. Just keep in mind, that you pretty much have to bite your tongue and work the "customer service" angle. It's frustrating, but if the feedback is important for you and need it changed, it's just part of the business.

I get a 20% discount on my fees based on my performance. A couple of months ago I had some issues with an employee making mistakes. Literally, I am allowed like 2 low star feedbacks over a set period of time. We had 3. That lost my discount for 3 months. That cost me over $800 in extra fees. That employee and I had a long talk. LOL

I have responded , but people don't look at my response , all they will see is negative feedback.

Now the buyer is sending me abusive emails.

I really am suspicious about this. It seems too convenient that they have just "left" me negative feedback.

Don't know the buyer. Never sold to them before.

I would just respond to the negative feedback as others have said. I honestly don't pay that much attention to feedback anymore unless it is really low or low with low transactions. Only then do I look for consistent negative behavior vs. one offs.

Sounds like I'm knackered then. I thought someone might have a little trick up their sleeve to get it removed.

    Oh well.... Merry Christmas all.

Block the buyer and monitor who is bidding on your items from here on out.

I know eBay frowns upon blocking your feedback for others to see. eBay sees that as trying to hide something from potential buyers.

Describe every detail of the item, always insure and put delivery confirmation on your items so eBay sees you are following the rules.

Have to play their game and play by their rules or go find somewhere else to sell your stuff.
