Bad Custom Based On A Bad Movie

As a fan of MST3K, I've always wanted to make some Manos customs. Last month I decided to make "The Master", and when it came time to make the cloak/robe, I decided to change it from hands to the beloved Mego logo. I sewed the cloak/robe in the spirit of the movie (i.e. bad), which was easy, since my sewing skills are laughable. But I figured since the movie was so bad, it was okay if my custom was equally bad. This one is even worse than my "Puma Man" custom!

Behold the lameness that is The Master!

"Oh Megos, thou of plastic wonder, thou who dwelleth in the collections of thy faithful. Thou bestoweth happiness upon thy faithful. Thou dost make him most blessed forever, and thou who dost curse with eternal burning light those inferior knockoffs that transgress against thee. Holy art thou, holy art thou, holy art thou. Megos' will be done."

(Mego body, CTVT head with Play-Doh mustache, AJ boots, custom "Megos" cloak, bad photography)

Cool, hope you do the hands cloak, too. And Torgo!!
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

That's so funny, I'm currently working on my own "Manos" custom but was struggling with what shape to use. I love the Mego logo concept.

Kinda looks like Robert Goulet to me.

I'm not familiar with the movie, so I'll take your word on how bad it is.

    The figure, however, is excellent.

    Nice and clean and simple.

Thanks for the kind words, folks. The cloak was the hardest thing to make. The rest was just existing parts. Now I need to figure out how to do Torgo.
