    Tardis THOR 2 Director walks...

This news does not bode terribly well for the second installment of the God of Thunder. MARVEL and Paramount are gonna have to scramble now to find someone to direct this thing and I only hope that doesn't mean it's going to be some rushed P.O.S. like X3 was.

Who do you guys think should take a crack at Thor? MIB41 and I were talking earlier this week about POTC and (although I've never seen any of them) they LOOK huge and impressive and THAT'S what THOR needs. Perhaps MARVEL could talk Gore Verbinski into helming it?

My first choice would be Peter Jackson, but he's busy HOBBIT-ing around right now....

    So----who else?

Feel free to comment and suggest, please...!
Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Nope. I'd MUCH rather see him get to helm the next BATMAN reboot. Maybe he would give us the big-screen BATMAN I've alway seen in my head...

Lets see. Who's not working on a project? How about not ruffling Kenneth Branagh's feathers anymore and offering more money to come back?

Stephen Norrington of Blade 1 & League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Matthew Vaughn of X-Men: First Class was originally supposed to direct Thor.

Sam Riami had a Thor concept in 2001. He could pick it up now.

Would like to see Nicholas Meyer back in the directors chair but he doesn't like super hero films and is closed-minded about doing them, (tho he does like mythology).

Paul Verhooven, Bryan Singer, Peter Weir, Brad Bird, Robert Rodriguez, The Wachowski Bros., almost any of the Harry Potter Directors.

Not Gulliermo Del Toro, not the guy who did the Fantastic Four films, not Brett Ratner or Rob Zombie, not Frank Miller.

Wouldn't that make Johnny Depp be Thor?

would love to see Gulliermo Del Toro take a crack at the Marvel universe somewhere, but I think he's not a good fit for an established franchise with a look already in place. Mybe he'd be the guy to reboot the FF, and he's been mentioned in conjunction with Dr. Strange.
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.
