^^^ GL will be a reboot if it happens at all.
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

    ^^ I don't want a reboot, I want a sequel. With evil, bad-*** Sinestro.

Also, just thought of this casting:

    Neena Thurman/Domino: Charlize Theron

The event where the fans are separated from the true fans.

^^^ Sorry, I don't see it happening. Been over a year since it was in theatres and not a peep about a sequel.

Get Matthew Vaughn to direct (since he did a great job with X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) and then get the right people to play the characters...

REED RICHARDS - Always have and always will see Clooney in this role.

SUSAN STORM-RICHARDS - Charlize Theron. She and Clooney, I think, would have the chemistry to make their relationship believable.

BEN GRIMM/THE THING - Michael Clarke Duncan. He's already got the perfect gravelly voice for it and his overall size doesn't hurt, either. Plus, the man has got some acting chops.

JOHN STORM/THE TORCH - Dunno about this one yet. Never have been able to put a finger on someone who could pull his character off. Chris Evans did an okay Storm, but he's already moved on to Capt. America and The Avengers, so you gotta cast someone else. Open to suggestions on this one.

VICTOR VON DOOM - A super-hero movie is only as good as it's villain. Ironically, Michael Fassbender would have made a KICK-*** Doom, but he's already Magneto, so he's out. Open to suggestions here, too. Need an actor who can be both elegant and malevolent at the same time....
Didn't we get enough of Clooney when he tried to do Batman

    >Herbie the Fat Fury - with Christian Bale.

Wow. Where did THAT come from? I think the only reason anyone remembers Herbie.... if at all.... is 'cos Rorsarch's speech pattern was cribbed from him.

Much to my lament, I believe you are right. I doubt we'll see GL on the big screen until the planned JLA movie in 2015 — if it gets made — and by that point it could be John Stewart or Kyle or Guy. I like those characters but Hal's my favorite. Some are pointing to the character's death in the upcoming GL annual that has the ominous bleeding lantern emblem. Man of Steel has to fly high next summer before we see any other super heroes from Warners other than a Batman reboot, imo. GL's flop has left a bad taste in Warner's mouth.

Ha - well, I can always count on you and samurainoir to know nearly EVERYTHING. Not that I'm nearly as expert as you guys, but you guys both stump me all the time.

Herbie rules! I learned about Herbie years ago when Flaming Carrot did a cross-over:

After that I read through a small stack of comics a collector friend of mine owned.

To be honest, I thought he was a little less obscure these days, because he's in "Art Out of Time"

and Dark Horse released 3 volumes of hardcover archives:

That Rorschach thing is nuts! I'm not totally convinced it makes sense - though, they're both short on using extra words, and I read them both without expressing much emotion - but it still seems far fetched. I hope it's true though!

I thought that list seemed a little short. Fixed it.
