MIB41 and I were talking about movie casting earlier this evening and determined that since Johnny Depp has delved into almost every movie genre known except one based on a comic, he should be cast as Doctor Stephen Strange, should they ever decide to bring the Sorcerer Supreme to the big screen...!
Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

    I could totally see that.

B.O.C.'s "Veteran of the Psychic Wars" playing over the end credits?

He was in "From Hell", but no superhero comic adaptations yet.

    >Moonglum of Elwher: Patton Oswalt

    HAW! That's SOOOOO perfect!

Y'know.... if someone was gonna make one of my faves into a film I'd prefer to see complete unknowns in the parts. I know it wouldn't happen, but it'd be better than seeing "Will Smith IS John Gaunt!" or "and starring Justin Bieber as Reuben Flagg" or "featuring as Judge Dredd: Keith Urban!"

    ....wait....

Thanks for that, Don--I'd never heard that one. I really need to get that CD.

And about your previous post, a lot of people don't realize Patton Oswalt really can act! I never saw him in anything serious, but he was great in Big Fan.

Written by Michael Moorcock to boot.

    >I really need to get that CD.

It's off "Cultosaurus Erectus." Came out on disk a while back, but isn't too hard to find. I'm kinda hoping they do a reissue of it, like they've been doing with the other albums with all the new songs.

    >he was great in Big Fan

Yeah.... and it was kind of a surprise how good he was.
