Me too -- one of my very favorite books (just downloaded it to my Kindle in anticipation of a business trip next week) -- I'm OK with the CGI, but what's up with the dull title (becaue A Princess of Mars isn't evocative enough? Because John Carter of Mars or The Warlord of Mars don't sound cool enough?") and how about what's possibly the most boring logo in the history of ERB adaptations? They worry me only for the perception they'll create for the non-ERB fans they'll need to make this movie a success.

The release date's already on my clendar, along with The Avengers!

I was excited when I saw the poster art - I think the poster art is a really interesting mix of pulp meets modern design.

The trailer didn't do much for me.

It looked.... okay. Kinda neat; but way too much like everything else from the last few years. (Does EVERY movie have to have a Kurosawa-esque massed combat scene?)
