My thoughts are no. It's worth what someone will pay for it....hence the "best offer" option. I am sure if someone offered him something over 1k he would take it....and I think that's too high, but it's an "eye of the beholder" piece.

He's a member here and had this for sale before. Like what was said, it's worth what some pays for it. I would certainly put more than one pic up. I think they had a pic once with it full of megos, much more inviting.

There is a guy in Penn that has this 2 doz box...he sent me pics of megos he had for sale some years ago So this can't be the only one unless seller is same guy?

If it was sealed box full of megos then I would say he has something here, but in a sense it is a cardboard box that has seen a lot of wear to it.

Haven't seen him in a while. Kind of goes back to the "just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable". It is always worth what someone is willing to pay and maybe there is someone out there who would love to have this box.
