They are thin plastic. You can purchase reproductions from Doc Mego as well for very little money![]()
Now i will show my first try in making oven mitts.
I found good material in the right coulor and after a while it works.
They arent perfect but the next attempt should be better.
Greetings

Nice workHow did you bond the plastic so well??
Hello
I built them on a very primitiv way. The most difficult part was to find the right plastic.
At first i made a stencil. Than i bent a thin sheet after the stencil. My girlfrind gave me a sheet - a cookie cutter-.
I took two layers of the plastik material and than i put the "cookie cutter" upon the plastik. Than i took a heat gun (300°C or 572° f) and i blew the air from outsid round the sheet. After a few seconds i pressed the sheet into the plastik. Now the two layers were bonded.
At last i cut the glove with a pair of scissors around the weld.
Now i need much more material in the right colour to bring it to perfection.
