I am pretty sure it is!! It is really difficult to tell but the boots seem translucent - maybe they are skinny too! The sticker is kind of rough though!!

Well, yesterday when this auction ended I was #2 bidder. I got a 2nd chance offer today for $275.00 for that lot. Which I think is a pretty good deal, with that being a large "s". I just want to be sure before I take the offer. Thoughts??

This was discussed in another thread earlier. I think Blue Meanie posted it.

The large S has stitches holding it onto the costume. Assuming the other figures are worth 100-125 ish, you are still paying 150 for a sticker that is less than pristine. The rest of the figure looks good and it should have skinny boots if it is a proper large S figure. I would ask the seller a few more questions and maybe get a pic of the boots before I did anything, myself.

I would also add, I don't really trust sellers that offer up 'second chance' bids right after an item has sold. If it is less than three days, how do they know they have a deadbeat bidder?? This sort of stuff sets off my shill alarm.

I just lookeed at the link again to see what day the auction ended and it is live with a buy it now on it. Looks like the seller either has an offer they are trying to complete on ebay, or they are fishing for that price. weird

I sent him a message asking for more pics. Good advice. I really would like to get this, I just don't want to over pay. What do you think it's worth? If the boots are right with that sticker condition? I would love a lot of input. I am kinda newbie to this variation.

It's about $100 - $125 overpriced in my opinion. The one saving grace about the auction is that you could probably make back about 90 - 100 bucks back if you sell off the Type 2 with the original emblem and the 12 inch Superman...so that would leave you at about $50 for the Big "S" Supes and the other Type 2 with half the emblem missing. The one problem you're gonna have is gettin the emblem off. First you have to get the thread off off the emblem that is holding it down and then peel the emblem off of the chest. One tip...use Goo gone on the inside of the jumpsuit to loosen the glue. Hope that helps.

I just paid $125 from a great seller here for a large "S" Superman with skinny boots. The "S" is in worn condition but the rest is really nice!! - I think this one is overpriced as well
