Krusher Mattel question

Does anybody here have a Mattel Krusher toy? I picked one up, never had this toy, really bought it for my son. The twist nozzle on the back, is that supposed to be pulled out a bit? Or pushed all the way in? And is it just twisting it clockwise to pump with air?

And does your Krusher stand on his own? The one I picked up falls backwards,seems that his two feet are rather soft and will not fill with enough air, is that common.

When you release the valve he should automatically inflate on his own. open the valve, crush him into a ball, push valve in and he should stay compressed until you release the valve for him to slowly inflte. Mine can't stand up straight worth a dam.
