My heighten mutant sense never lies..........................................This ain't lemonade. -
Day of the Dead (Bub rules!)
Shaun of the Dead
after that, Night, Dawn, (Original) and Land of the Dead
Return was awesome,
Dawn's remake was pretty damned good too,
Fulci's Zombie get's a honorable mention,
after that, Revolt of the Zombies is a classic.
Now the "Zack" movies that sucked,
HARD ROCK ZOMBIES (When you see this on a shelf, run.)
Zombie Honeymoon (UGH!)
Fulci's Zombi 3 (I was expecting a classic instead I got a horrible awakening. Another one to run from. If you don't run you may get the stink of poop on you.)
Here's something cool to check out, "Dead Patrol" one of my dear friends is Art director for this online show and it's pretty damned good.
Here's the link, enjoy!

For me, it was the line "I kick *** for the Lord!"
Cemetary Man is certainly amongst the most artful horror films I've ever seen. The ending is certainly interesting! I had heard that Cemetary Man was based on the european comic series Dylan Dog.Comment

I believe that the Evil Dead movies are pretty much universally beloved at this point.
I think my point was that it's difficult to pigeon-hole The Evil Dead movies into proper Zombie films in the Romero tradition. Rather than being re-animated dead, I view them as bodies (both alive and dead) that are possesed by demonic entities. Particularly given some of their transformative powers. Flesh seems to be like Clay to the Evil Dead.Comment

This thread inspired me to watch Dawn (the original) again.
Something I never noticed before ........
Ever notice..... ?
The nun.........
The yellow pull-over sweater guy.....
...and the zombie who took Roger's gun ....
....somehow lasted all the way to the end of the movie ?
Shouldn't these zombies have been killed in the mall clean-up scenes ?

Who'd ever have thought you could have made such an innovative Zombie flick like 28 Weeks Later by simply having ZOMBIES WHO RUN!!!Comment

Worked alot better than the Dawn remake because they weren't zombies per say but plague driven humans. It was the running zombies that put me off the Dawn remake...ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT British by birth....English by the grace of God. Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....Comment
