Yeah good point. Living so close to our American friends certainly comes in handy.

Had a fun time. Nice seeing you again Brian, and it was great meeting you Ed. And I finally got a Brick Mantooth of my very own! Next time you guys head to Buffalo, let me know, you'd practically pass my house on the way.

Absolutely sir, I hope to do some border hops soon. I'm out of coffee and hotdogs.

            Cool!

There seemed to be some false advertising though, I didn't notice any eye watering BO or morbid obesity (well, not at your booth anyway). What a rip off! And dammit, I forgot to get some free cards!

Oh, and Brian, before we left, I took my son down a couple aisles to buy him a toy (as I promised him), and we passed the gentleman you told me about. I was torn, I really wanted to say something nice to him, but also didn't want to bother him, so I chickened out...

                I had a great time!

Another fun day with Brian and his son, who's enthusiasm for all things Lego and Star Wars is always a highlight.

An absolute pleasure to finally meet Cjeffreys, although it was fortunate that I did get back from my food run in time to join in the chat, I do need to apologize that he had to witness the spectacle of my chili and bacon cheeseburger slobber, not unlike that of Jabba the Hutt.

But as previously mentioned, the absolute pinnacle of the day was being introduced to a man that was not only pivotal to Megos in Canada, but the driving force behind one of my favourite toylines.

No problem at all Ed, I did show up right at lunch time after all. And you were very wise to make a road trip to Wendy's, as the food in the convention hall was a tad expensive as my wife found out.

I'm glad that you guys had a chance to talk to that gentleman, I'm sure he got a real kick out of it, I'd love to hear what he had to say. I do now regret not talking to him, but I felt too nervous to just walk up to him out of the blue and say "Hey, I just found out who you were..." and start gushing at him. Plus I'm sure my son would have picked that very moment to start complaining about being bored.
