Yesterday marked the 4th anniversary of TwoMorrows' publication of Mego 8" Super-Heroes: World's Greatest Toys! It was originally published on October 25, 2007 and remains out-of-print.
Four years! It's hard to believe that much time has passed.
Thanks to everyone on the MM Boards, who helped make the book a reality.

I remember seeing your photo and blurb you mailed into Entertainment Weekly and logging right onto Amazon and pre-ordering a copy. Time flies.
So... when's the next one?
Four years? Holy crap, time goes fast! And I still remember like it was yesterday getting that really cool oversized promo postcard that you mailed out to early subscribers of your book's promotional website, and that was May 2006! At that point I so couldn't wait for the book to come out.
Anyway, your book still holds a very special place on my bookshelf. And yeah, when's the next one?I remember you mentioning something about a Jumbo Machinder book?

Now that the book is sold out, I wouldn't mind doing a 2nd Edition with updates and corrections. Still don't think a brand new Mego book is likely to happen, but there have been discussions about giving the 'World's Greatest Toys treatment' to two different toy lines – Kenner's Super Powers Collection and Batman: The Animated Series – as well as one detailing the work of sculptor Randy Bowen. It's all up in the air…
