They get that kind of money? I picked up a few Dune coloring and activity books for cheap during the summer. Hmmm.
Bahhh! I guess not always. VINTAGE 1984 DUNE COLORING BOOK~UNUSED | eBay
There's a fair amount of things like that on ebay, they can sell really well one week, and sell for peanuts the next.
Well, it's still more than I paid for it. I picked up three different Dune books (including the one in that auction) and a Black Hole comic adaptation trade paperback for practically nothing. Maybe I should throw them up for sale, I might luck out.
Hit a few yard/garage sales early Sat morning. Didn't find anything amazing but brought home a few things. Not sure if anything is worth much but still neat things and the hunt was fun.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

No yard sales this weekend, but I stopped at the Salvation Army thrift store on Friday night and found a whole buncha vintage Ghostbusters toys: an Ecto-1 (missing the driver's door if anybody has any parts), a Ghost trap, the Happy Haunter VW vehicle, the gun that shoots foam pellets, the ghost projector, and a PKE meter. total cost: 12.00!
They look like they are original promo posters for these movies/events. The Bogey one looks to be a made for TV movie that aired in 1980. The "Roots The Next Generation" is just a beautiful poster. Don't know the artist by the signature. The Hitchcock is also very nice. A year after the broadcast he passed away. Googled them and didn't see a thing about them on the web. All the promo stuff for Roots are black and white photos from the mini-series.
