Just went by during lunch to take a look in person and I have to say I really like the sculpt. I can see what others are saying, but I think it definitely captured the original look. I can't wait to get one.
The sculpt is great, I think the human flesh tones needs to be darker and not so human, that would probably fix that hillbilly look he kinda has in the photo...

If they darken the flesh on the production piece, it'll vastly improve. This is likely a hand painted sample and the effects of flash photography we're seeing here.

Man, I hate to criticize but there are a couple of things I'd love to see improved. The headsculpt looks a litte too "human." I would love to see him looking wilder and meaner (maybe an open mouth so we can really see the fangs) with more of that spooky look he had in his eyes. Also, I know that Andre had a barrel-shaped torso but the Bigfoot costume hid that a bit. I also think this should be stuffed to look a little less like he has a big belly... whether it's completely accurate or not. There was just something really scary about the character on the show that this is not quite "hitting."
At any rate, I LOVE that we're getting these and I love that there's going to be a BIGFOOT!
I agree. The head looks more like Wolfman Jack. The eyes need less pupil and more of that ghostly white. More fang would be cool, too. The biggest problem (like the old Kenner figure) is the skin tone makes him look like a human. There needs to be a much darker paint -- especially around the eyes. The skin tone of the hands is closer to accurate. Here are some screen-caps from the actual episode for reference...
