Dracula (1931) with Phillip Glass score

    You know, I've owned this film in the Dracula Legacy set and in the Japanese green coffin box set for six years or more, but I've never watched it with that score yet. I'll have to make time for it, the lack of music in the original version has always been a sore point for me, it makes the film drag so much. Really, it's only Lugosi's performance that makes it worthwhile. Browning was a great director, but I've always felt he kinda dropped the ball here.

      After reading all this I think I need to watch the movie again with the Glass score. I always found it interesting the the theme music for "Dracula" and "The Mummy" is the same movement from Swan Lake. An Ice Cream truck that comes around my neighborhood plays the same music from Swan Lake. Every time I hear it I smirk.
