Actually that is a very low price on this piece. I can't remember what the exact amount was but the last one I saw went over 10K.

Unless you may have it confused with the similar but larger Justice League of America playset. They are both very cool pieces.

and right you are. I just checked. The JLA playset is larger and has the blue box. My mistake. Yes, they are both very cool pieces and anyone owning one has a definate grail piece.

Cool yes, but since it doesn't say MEGO on the box, I can sleep at night without feeling like I missed out on anything. And would you really want to own something so delicate that you couldn't really touch the darn thing? I actually spoke to the seller during the auction when it was sitting at under $900 and he predicted that it would go for somewhere around $6000-7000. I bought his Batgirl and I'm excited about that purchase. Not that I could have afforded the Ideal playset anyway...
