    1977 Centisible Catalog

Centsible is best known for their inflatable line of boxing gloves called "Socker Boppers" which sold for decades. The thing I remember most about these was getting the seam in the face, which hurt a whole lot when your sibling opponent is five years older than you (what was my dad thinking?).

The company had a whole line of fun toys and definitely had a penchant for velcro. Take a peek at the 1975 Centsible catalog, sorry about some of the scans, this one had a bit of water damage.

Gotta agree with you on Wham Wads. Almost sounds like Elmer Fudd came up with the name.

I remember Socker Boppers. Is that the company that also made Belly Whoppers?

There are a wonderfully terrible idea for kids. I remember feeling like I could just swing away! After all, I had a balloon on my hand. How could it hurt that much? My little sister had a comepletley different feeling as her head snapped back and she fell on the floor. Its a good things little sisters are so pliable.

There is a lot of stuff in that catalog that I would have loved, but I have a feeling it wouldn't have held up. I remember how quickly those velcro balls would stop sticking to their intended targets.
