Classic toys at the Smithsonian (lots of pics)

While on a trip to D.C. last week, I was able to tour some of the Smithsonian museums. Here are some pictures I took at the American History and Air & Space Museums.

Cool Pics. If you want an overload of toys visit the Americana Museum in Metropolis, Ill (Home of Dippin Dots and Superman)

Too many toys. Not enough space!

Wow! Now those are a piece of history! I have a replica of a later version of the Tom Corbett Space Cadet lunchbox and replica (sorta) of the Astronaut dome lunchbox. That Space Fort set looks like fun!

Cool man, thanks for sharing the pics. Some neat stuff in there. I like those buck rogers pistols.

Cool pics. I wonder if that ESB stuff was a donation. The only reason I can think of for excluding Han Solo and using an original Luke rather than one of the two ESB versions.

Interesting that Captain Action is not in there since he was first true superhero action figure with multiple licenses from all existing comic books. That's unique especially by today's standards.

I love the pics! However, I kept thinking: I'm so old some of the toys I played with are in a museum.
