Comic Books are Higly Illogical Gentlemen

It seems like the Star Fleet cadet doesn't approve of his comic fan companions. I guess "Spock" doesn't recognize how cool that DC stock art is. If I'm not mistaken that's Infantino and Adams.

And they are FLAME RESISTANT! So go ahead and let the kids play with matches in bed.

Or maybe they mean that Superman and Batman/Robin are flame resistant- I don't think Spock is though.

That is my all-time favorite Batman image. It was originally from those mail-in posters that DC lifted the Mego art for Joker, Penguin, Riddler and (redrawn) Batman. The same image was a poster again via Fruity Pebbles in the late 70s/early 80s. I would have killed for PJs like that.

It is indeed Adams and Infantion (with Murhpy Anderson!).

You must be rubbing off Chris because I remembered Anderson.

I'm surprised my uncle who's just as big of a Star Trek geek as I am didn't get these for me when I was younger. I mean he's the one who got me into Star Trek.

Nah...he's thinking, "Why do those two get the cooler looking jammies?"

Why did all the Trek jammies have to look like uniforms? They're so PLAIN. They made cool Trek sheet sets and sleeping bags, why not cool jammies w/ a pic of the crew doing something exciting? If I were the kid in that ad, I'd look annoyed, too.

Nah, the kid with the Batman P.J.'s has a couple of Mego figures in his hand behind his back and the older kid is comtemplating his attack.

I think you're way off base on that observation. I wanted these trek-uniform jammies so bad when I was a kid. As far as Trek goes I think kids would prefer realistic looking uniforms for kids from the show. I don't know why my parents never bought them for me. Thye wouldn't buy the Trek underoos either. I would almost like to make a set for me as an adult these days. Maybe at Mego Meet 08, heheheheheee

When I was a kid, they made shirts like the uniforms on the show; with embroidered emblems and rank cuffs. I've never seen them mentioned anywhere though.

They've been brought up before, I always wanted them but couldn't talk my mother into buying one.
