    I remember it vividly 'cos my grandpa was watching with me, and he said the reason the car was empty was 'cos the devil was driving and mortals couldn't see him. I couldn't get near a car with tinted windows for a while after that....

    HA!! That is why I recall it as well. After that I never approached any tinted windowed vehicle after and my brother would taunt me ALL the time.

    If I am not mistaken wasn't the dash lit up in a sort of neon green? Well many people are prob not aware or care that the tv version had extra footage and in this day and age most of those tapes from then have ended up in the garbage.
