No. Megocon was in NY but that probably won't be happening again for sometime. Some of us have been meeting at the NYCC but I'm pretty sure I won't be going this year because of our holiday vacation.
    GFY!!!

No we just meet there. It's nothing like West Virginia. There's usually about 8 to 10 of us in NY.
    GFY!!!

I'll say what everyone says..go to the real deal in WV. At first it seems like a bear of a trip but it's well worth it. I've gone four of the last five years and it's one the highlights of my year. I'm coming from NJ so it's not around the corner for me either.

Makes me wistful for the good old days of NYC having small toy show conventions in the pre-Internet age. Always around midtown, never too fancy, very little major marketing happening, dominated by small dealers and tons of stuff you could never see elsewhere. That world is now supplanted by boards like this and eBay, but man I miss those days.

im not THAT into megos to go to WV

also something else gone are trash stores, you could find great stuff for 20 bucks
now all thrift stores are for some charity so for something with 45 bucks they sell for 600,
some small movie VHS cost 10 bucks.
Just cause' they are for some charity
everyone donates to them no instead of Salvation army so now forums and ebay are great for me
