Attention all MEGO fans and collectors!! Up for auction is a 1973 vintage "Robin" figure from Mego. This is the very rare version with removable mask as opposed to the later version where the mask was part of the head itself. The figure is in excellent condition for being 40+ years old!! The body of the figure has no loose joints or missing or damaged pieces. The head and mask are in excellent condition! The cape could use a cleaning and there are some stains on the arm's right short sleeve. There is also a minor hole in the left glove between the thumb and fingers. The "R" insignia is affixed nicely with no creases or rips. The box is in very good condition with standard shelf wear. The "window" is still affixed to the box, with the lengthwise sides of the window detached from the box; the widthwise sides of the window are still attached to the box. Descrition: Here is a Mego 8" T2 body Robin from Batman, of the Dynamic Duo! He is complete and MINT inside his ORIGINAL MEGO LATER ISSUE window box. ALL ORIGINAL, vintage 1970's Mego figure and box, guaranteed. Mid 1970's production original Mego. Figure is absolutely mint, never played with. Mint condition vintage face and hair paint, showing no wear. Original Mego body is completely intact and VERY tight. Original tunic in outstanding condition. No holes, no seam splits, no runs, no stains and snaps intact on front. The color is a deep shade of red color with beautiful green sleeves, very nice. Mint condition. Original cape and collar are a vibrant yellow color. Clean as can be with no edge fray and still maintains the original factory made crispness. Original Mego green shorts also in perfect shape with absolutely no defects, tight waist elastic and matches the green sleeves. Original Mego belt in mint condition shape, no wear at all and working clasp on back. Original vintage Mego green shoes are in superb shape, NO cracks or splits, bright vintage color and very clean. Mint condition ORIGINAL green gloves, no defects at all. Perfect ALL ORIGINAL chest emblem, vibrant color as seen in the pics and it completes this vintage mint condition Robin Mego. The original later issue window box is solid and sturdy with nice 90 degree panels. Box has all but one of the original flaps and tabs intact (missing the upper left tab). No warping. Vintage tape residue at the bottom of the back panel and a 1 1/2" x 1/2" litho tear on the upper left side panel (see pic). All panels have bright/ vibrant color, no fading, excellent vintage graphics. NO price stickers. Hang tab is intact, the little circle has been punched out. Original cello window is approx 90% attached all around. VERY clean and clear considering the age, no cracks or punctures. Original Mego teal insert is perfect in color and quality and nests the figure well as seen in the pics. Overall a VERY high grade vintage later issue box. This particular version was the ONLY window box Mego produced for the type 2 Robin. A truly beautiful, complete, ALL ORIGINAL mid 1970's Mego and box. Type 2 Robin of Batman, MINT IN BOX, displays beautifully!

This is an original 1972 Mego, 8" World's Greatest Super Heroes, Robin figure. Made for Mego in Hong Kong. This is the type with the removable mask. The Figure looks to be in Un-Played with condition. Nice and Clean. The box shows edge wear, couple of small tears on the flaps, bends, minor soil, small stain. Overall box is in decent condition.- see photos for condition. Box dated 1972.

Super Rare Removable Mask Robin with Original Mask and Yellow Variant Outfit. Almost impossible to find and even harder to find with the yellow variant costume. Everything is guaranteed original with the exception of the box which is a high quality reproduction box. T-1 Robin, head is in superb condition, not one paint rub that I can see. Back of neck has the appropriate N.P.P. Inc c 1972. I will do my best to point out any noticeable flaws. One glove has a very small hole on the underside at the seam, cape has very slight fraying. Mask is guaranteed original. Upper right side of mask has very small piece missing as seen in picture, back has nearly perfect white mesh, one side has a slight touch of really old glue residue (I'm not sure if this was manufactured with it or was a fix). Elastic on back of mask is slightly stretched, but fits nice on Robin's head as seen in picture. This is the crown jewel of mine and any Mego collection. Bid with confidence. I am a member of the Mego Museum and will be happy to answer any and all questions. I will also include a high quality acrylic display case for it. Please ask all questions before bidding. Item NO 51302 vintage card here, overall a beautiful Boy Wonder! BATMAN needed ROBIN to complete the DYNAMIC DUO! This card has been stored since it was store bought new by an adult collector in 1977. This card remains unpunched! The bubble has excellent structure and remains crystal clear and fully attached to the card as it was from the factory in 1977. The card is shiny and is almost completely flat. The corners and edges are mostly sharp with the most noticeable blemish on the top left edge and left-upper corner. The top right corner has a minor curling. The card has minor shelf wear with minor scuffs to the bubble and card. The bottom of the bubble was manufactured with a couple openings near Robin’s heels. Please let my pictures dictate the quality of this wonderful 34 year old collectable! This hard to find prize has never been displayed and was always stored inside a cool dark room keeping the colors vivid and bright!
