Dr. Orpheous = OMG!

Jut got Dr. O and Phantom Limb in today and I gotta scream how super sweet this guy is! I don't have the camera with me to give him the full "Toy Box" treatment just yet but man am I looking extremely forward to this review! I mean seriously, WOW!

The layers of costume, the excellent sculpt and paint... and of course the specialty "magic hand" is beyond sweet to me. Phantom Limb is all well and good but seriously Dr. O is incredible. This is the first Re-Mego that I can honestly say the inner kid in me was screaming to pull him out of the package. Outstanding job Bif, Bang, Pow and EMCE! You guys have really knocked it out of the park with this figure!

Also to note this is my first order ever from Entertainment Earth and I am quite pleased on that front as well. The ship time was a bit slow for my taste but the end result was totally worth it AND they also included a catalog! That's right kids a real deal "wish book" catalog! I haven't had one of those in a very long time so I apologize if I seem all Steve Martin-the Jerk on this one ("The new phone book is here! The new phone book is here!") but I can't help it.

Again outstanding job BBP and EMCE!

For anyone on the fence about these figures you will seriously kick yourself if you don't get one. My pennies are now being saved for another one of these. Wow!

New Venture Bros FS - Dr Girlfriend, Morpheus, Phantom Limb, Hank - Mego Talk

Dr. Orpheus is a really sweet figure. The whole second wave is tremendous. They have really put a lot of work and love into these figures. I liked the first wave, but the second wave shows that BBP really cares about quality and improving the figures.

If you are on the fence about getting them you really should. They are a treat.

Okay fellows and girls check him out! I haven't written the blog yet but I had to share the pics because I was so completely blown away by what I saw. I'm telling you fellow's and girl's you will simply kick yourself if you don't get this figure. He's simply too awesome...

Jim, I was just reading your casting call for a VB movie, and you're right on. I wouldn't have even thought of Peter Gallagher or Chris Kattan, but they were great choices.

Another great feature of wave 2 VB is the packaging is smaller!!! There is a God! My big issue with wave 1 was that the backer cards were too big. BBP! is amazing.

Wave 2 now has the Mego tan.

Yeah, these were waiting for me when I got home from vacation. I am in awe of the leap in quality these guys took, I was happy with wave one but I'm absolutely BUOYANT about wave 2.

I am not a fan or know nothing at all about the venture brothers,but i bought this set to pop a cvtv wil scarlet head on the phantom limb to make a sort of GIJOE mike power figure(i kitbashed a 8 inch bulletman too).but these two were awesomely done,liking even the doc orpheus figure which i had no interest in.

That is a great idea! I need to buy another Phantom Limb figure for a Sue Storm idea I have.
