Is It Original or Repro? The MegoMuseum Accessory Check

It's one of our greatest resources, yet it's constantly missed.

    Accessory Check: Mego Museum

Accessory Check shows you what's been reproduced and by who, it's an exhaustive piece of work and made to help you the collector verify.

So before you ask, check to see if it's already there.

Apart from the message boards, I imagine I use Accessory Check more than any other area here at the Museum. Love it.

One of my favorite Museum features.

I wish ebay sellers would use it more

I had a lot of questions and that page answered them.
                  Great reference page.

Not sure if this is the place or not, but since we are talking accessories, I have a set of Isis sandals that are marked with "Y"s on the insole. Are these original or the new reproductions?

Accessry check is awesome! Tho with the current ftc deluge, we are going to have to form a committee to document all the new repro stuff and post new pics.

Can anyone shed light on when repro parts/accessories began to be created?

I have some Megos I'm thinking of selling and bought them all in 1987 IIRC. Were repro's around back then?

edit: nevermind, I just saw that I asked the question here a couple years ago and the answer is apparently no.
