I have been searching for this guy for over 5 years. Every one I've tracked down (and it hasn't been many) was in the 1400-1600 range...a bit more than what I wanted to pay. One did sell recently at Hake's for $1000, but it was the Marvel only card. I wanted the first issue Kresge card with the 6 characters on the header. I got this guy for a 1/3 of those prices.
Even though this is a re-seal (a nice one at that), I do not care because he is so rare. I think carded Spidey Kresges are some of the hardest to find due to the fact that he was so popular and kids could not wait to tear into it. I realize they were all made to be opened and played with, but I know in my 5 year search, this is only the 4th for me to even see, much less have an opportunity to bid on.
EDITED TO ADD: I'll tell you how serious my search has been for this...I've had the money put back for him for 5 years!
