Landed me one of my last remaining "Grails"

First I want to send a huge shout out to Randy (Spidey68). Without his determination as a third party to persuade his brother to do a trade, I would still be dreaming about this today. Thanks Randy. You ARE THE MAN!

It's the Ideal Action Boy Robin costume. I have him suited up here next to my vintage CA Batman. He's borrowing a belt from the Lone Ranger until I find me an original. But everything else is completely original. I had this once as a kid in the late 60's. But much of it was lost when we moved to our new home in '68. I held on to the mask through most of the 70's, but then even THAT finally disappeared. It has eluded me no matter how many auctions I have participated in. But thanks to Randy and his brother, Robin has finally come home to stand next to his mentor. I feel like a proud papa.

A HUGE CONGRATS to YOU..!! The Action Boy Robin was ALWAYS my favorite as well..!!

Just a beautiful vintage rendition.., it was the bane of my childhood never having one (got Aqualad instead..), but when I finished mine, it was HUGE.

The best part is finding the base suit in bright, minty, 'no-marks-or-runs' condition. It's gorgeous.

    "It's a beautiful thing..!!"
    Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

And to think you and me were just talking about this very item days before Randy posted pics wanting to know what it was. It was like a gift from Heaven with Randy being the angel.

I always tell folks regarding C/A items..: SPEND THE EXTRA $$$ for a MINTY SUIT.

They're by far not the sturdiest of vintage outfits, with marks, and runs, you name it.

If you lob say another $50 to get the 'mintiest of suits', you'll NEVER regret it.

One, you won't have to go through the trouble of reselling a less-than-perfect C/A suit, which is hard.., and
Two, are you going to remember the extra money you spent in two years from now..?? Nope.

It is SO worth it. Again, that Robin totally ROCKS.. I love how that fabric color and sheen just bleeds off the picture..

        You're SO lucky..!!
        Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

That is all kinds of awesome! My Robin needs shoes, gloves and a belt. I wouldn't mind having a Batarang, but I can do without the other accessories if I have to.

Yeah. I also have Robin's Batarang and one suction cup (not pictured). Good stuff.
