Brick showed up today! Man, i gotta see if my Mom still has that huge box of material scraps from the 70's. She used to make a lot of our clothes back then.Vintage Toy Rescue

He arrive today and already took a tour of Branson,MO Brick over Branson pictures by jimsmegos - Photobucket
Also to note... I didn't boil the head. instead I pressed it in around the edges one cm at a time. it worked great! Brick is on a Doc Mego body while SC is on his broader shoulder new body. The suit was a bit of a bear but man does it look sweet! Excellent work all!Comment

I got mine in on Saturday and love them. I did a little tailoring on Bricks pants to eliminate the droopy crotch and tone down the flare of the bell bottoms a bit. Used the excess material from that to fashion some belt loops too. The shirt is a little small but once tucked in looks great. Brick always needs to be looking his best, now he's ready to seek out the ladies.

What a coincidence.
I didn't see the previous one as its apparantly gone but what I did is pretty simple. Please pardon the crude drawing below, its just a quickie to get the point across. If you flip the pants inside out, the black line represents the edge of the fabric. The green line represents the original stitching. The red line is the new line I sewed into the pants. After sewing that line (take your time with small close stitches), trim the material about 3mm away from your new stitch line all the way around the curve. Flip the pants back and you are done. I did this by hand but if you are handy with a sewing machine or know someone who is, this can be done real quick.
