Well, Damien, there weren't many Megos there, but of the ones I saw, the ones I could afford, I wasn't interested in, and the ones I was interested in, I couldn't afford!

          And Bo8a Fett, I'm not a dude, hun. It's HardyGIRL, k?

Hardy Girl, next time there's one in the Bay Area, let me know. I'm interested in checking it out to see what they've got.

There's one on March 8th (I think), but I'm not going to that one. I'm starting to run out of space, and I don't want my toyroom to look junky.

I was going to ask the same thing, Jessica!

I can't seem to find the right connections to keep abreast of hobby related events since I moved to this area. Also, wouldn't mind connecting with other MM members in person eventually, since I'm not likely to find myself in WV any year soon

                  OK Bay Area Folks!

We need to get together sometime soon! But we need to wait alwhile, b/c Scott lives here too, but since he just became a proud papa, he needs to be at home w/ his family. I'm off for 4 hours in the middle of the day, so I'm open to lunch! And maybe whenever I can hit another toy show, we can all go together. What say you?

Actually, I'd be game for something like this with some advance notice. I'm in south bay--down in Milpitas to be more precise--but would be willing to travel anywhere I can find reasonably using Mapquest. I am indentured in my brother's gift basket business, so my hours are somewhat flexible. I've never been to Oakland, and have no idea where El Sobrante even is

Yay! We should definitely get together. Let's get together after the holidays--maybe by that time Scott would be a little bit more settled and would have had a chance to get some sleep. I've got 3 boys running around under me (8, 5 and 3 years old) usually if they are not at daycare.

I work at the salt mines---er, in Emeryville but only have 1 hour for lunch. :(

I am taking MLK in January as a day off, so I'm up for anything that day. How about we designate a day and get together somewhere? I don't have an extensive Mego collection--I just passionately love POTA--I can go for a drive or you are welcome to come to my place, just a stone's throw from Pinole. Just give me some ample notice so I can make my place presentable.

Alot of megoheads in California. Went to the same show and there was lots to see and buy. Wheres El Sobrante? San Jose Toy Show has been a good way to meet mego members in the area. Well worth the 2 and a half hour drive.

El Sobrante is only 1.25 hours away from San Jose!! Please let me know when there is a next toy show around. I don't keep good track of such things...so a reminder would be awesome...

Would love to get some cheap megos...have lots of plans kicking in my head.
