Sad Help Wanted (again repair help )

What is best for sorting toy boxes that have lost there glue over time and become unstuck ? i dont have any glue at home at the moment but i have double sided sticky tape would this work to stick a flap? iv did it once to a massive box but when the room heated up it had a tendency to come apart , the box was massive this box that needs fixed is a modest size ....

anyone on here use double sided sticky tape to repair toy boxes? if it did not stick will it be easy to remove ?

i would not use tape. Just wait for some glue, i've used hot glue and it's worked for me...But if it's something valuable,Fragile or vintage I'd wait for some better advice

I have found that for carded figures, elmers glue works just finwe, it dries invisible. I would imagine it would work just fine on boxes as well

Yea, it's really well known in the US.

It's used in all schools so EVERYBODY knows about it.

Also, it's sold everywhere ... from department stores to even drug stores.

I'm guessing just about everybody in the whole country owns a container of it

Do they still sell that clear/amber stuff called MUCILAGE?
Came in the bottle with the weird rubber tip.

Or you could try library paste, but don't get caught eating it!
