    Da-Dun Da-Dun Da-Dun

I got the Ideal Jaws game one year for Christmas, the movie itself made me to timid swim in the ocean, lakes and even pools. I never said I was a bright kid.
It was a pretty inventive game but I really only remember playing it once or twice before Jaws became a supervillain for my Mego Superheroes to fight. Great game but an even better action figure.

I loved this game when I was a kid. I never had it, but it seemed every one of my friends did so I could play iy whenever I wanted.

        Hey,
LOVED this game as a kid. Found a complete boxed one on Ebay about 3 years ago and bought it. Pulled it out to play with my daughters - they love it as well.

I still have mine. We loved playing the game. The best part was all the 'junk' inside his mouth. The only down side was the rubber bands that worked the mouth. They were a pain to find replacements. Luckily, that's where my orthodonic rubber band extras came in handy...

I had one as a kid. Look at the post from Kraut in Germany pulling down all those toys from the attic, there is one of these in the pic, I thought it was the Mego Great White at first.

I had that game although I had never seen the movie. It used to eat my action figures. It was a land shark I guess because I never played with this in the bathtub. That thing had some good snapping action. Either that or I had the rubber bands on too tightly. Great memories.

I had the game as a kid too, and predictably, played with the shark more than I played the game itself. Why not, it really was a great toy shark.

GREAT! A classic toy for sure! ALong with Mego, I am a Jaws collector as well. That game was actually reissued a few times. Just Toys released a version in the 90's and it was released again without the "Jaws" name. Here is a pic of my Jaws collection from some time ago and both versions of this great game are included. As a kid I used to use my Mego Shark from AM S WS set and thisone as Jaws and Jaws 2 respectively. Great fun having my Megos get chomped!

                      I love this thing!
My sister still has it all MIB in her bedroom, when I first saw it loose at a toy store I thought it was the Aquaman VS Shark shark and almost peed my pants when I saw it was $25 but was sadly disappointed upon closer inspection.
                      silly ol' me.

LOU are those custom JAWS Mego figures to the left of your photo? They look great.

I think one of my brothers had the JAWS game, but it didn't survive very long.

I used to love the commercial. Tiger, that pic of those vintage toys is sweet. Unearthed treasures are so great!

                            LOU - Nice collection!
